A Nottingham University graduate, Michael began his career working as a researcher and press officer for a Government Minister. Following the general election, Accenture recruited him as a strategy consultant to work with their pharmaceutical and high-tech clients.
Michael then spent a year as a volunteer working on a peace project, based in Beirut, but travelling throughout the Middle East. Returning to the UK, he worked with a financial services company before becoming the commercial manager for a software outsourcing company, taking responsibility for the operations of the company, including the finances, legals and HR.
Michael will admit he caught the building bug early and went on to acquire a modest residential portfolio and co-found a building company in North America that has built a number of houses over the last two years. He has also leased, managed and maintained residential and commercial property.
As well as his hands-on approach to building, Michael brings to Jackson Green his broad financial and operational experience to ensure the smooth financial and strategic running of Jackson Green.
