After graduating from Birmingham University in 1998, Mark’s first career move was to join Accenture where he focused on the High Tech & Telecoms sector. The next move was to a City financial services firm, where he was entrusted with managing pan-European business development for one of its insurance subsidiaries.
However, along the way, he realised that his real business interest lay in property development. He was first able to enter the residential property market in 1998, when he began to build up a small residential portfolio and renovate his own private dwellings, which began to provide the capital and experience to generate other property development opportunities with like-minded people.
In late 2004, Mark co-founded two companies, one in America and one in the UK, the latter being Jackson Green limited.
At Jackson Green, Mark’s role is to continue to source new site opportunities and further develop the concept to ensure that the dwellings built are expertly designed to make the maximum use of the space available and that their positioning on the sites provides as much natural daylight into the interiors as possible.
