Henry Clarke is a former Deputy Chief Executive (Under Secretary) of The Crown Estate Commissioners and Chief Development Surveyor of British Rail Property Board. Upon privatisation of the UK rail industry, he became a founder director of Rail Estate Limited. Henry is a former General Council Member of The British Property Federation and holds a BSc degree in Estate Management, a Masters degree (prize winner) in Management Science and the Diploma of Imperial College. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of The Civic Trust.
Henry is also a founder member of The Urban Villages Forum and a Member of the Telecommunications Forum and the Urban Regeneration Forum of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has held several directorships of companies with interests in architecture, urban regeneration, marketing, television production, property management, sports promotion and telecommunications. He is a trustee of several national and international relief and development charities including The Railway Children and Mercy Ships. Henry is also property advisor to The Church Mission Society.
